On 24 December 2022, Ms Noreen (Deputy Director (Registration), Survey of Pakistan) and Mr Khalid (retired Deputy Director, Photogrammetry, Survey of Pakistan), with their team, visited the Spatialox office. The visit was part of our S-2 licence application, and it consisted of a review of our office, equipment and personnel. The people who visited us came to our office, and we explained to them what Spatialox is, what we have done and what will be done next.
The review visit
The visit was a review of three things: our office, our equipment and our team. The guests from Survey of Pakistan visited the Spatialox office and our CEO and team welcomed them. The visitors interviewed every single member of our team. Ms Noreen is working as Deputy Director (Registration) at Survey of Pakistan. Mr Khalid is a retired Deputy Director (Photogrammetry) from the same organisation.
Our briefing to the visitors
Who we are
Spatialox is an Islamabad-based geospatial company. Started in 2017 as a team of three freelancers, we served clients in the USA and Europe on projects related specifically to GIS, drone imaging and mapping. We provide services related to cartography, topographic survey, drone imaging and processing, GIS and remote sensing. Read more on our About Us page.
What we have done
We have done GIS mapping, drone imaging and processing, topographic survey and cartography projects for clients in the USA and Europe. See more sample work in our Portfolio.
Our plans for the future
We will continue to grow as a geospatial solutions partner. We want to continue building on the automation-focused, contemporary workflows that we are already employing in mapping, drone and GIS work as well as serving international clients. Professional registration and licensing requirements, the S-2 licence we have applied for being an example, are part of providing survey work to a recognised standard.
After the visit
It was a tiring day for every member of the team. The Spatialox crew then had dinner together.

Looking ahead
Thank you to Ms Noreen, Mr Khalid and their team for taking time out of their busy work day to come and review our office, equipment and people. We remain committed to professional survey and mapping standards for our customers and community.
